Articles Introduction

In this selection of three articles, I considered spots in Orange, California for Valentine’s Day dates, skincare brands, and ways to keep busy at home during the pandemic. While attending Chapman University, I was a staff writer for the “Hidden Gems” section of 60 Seconds Online Magazine. Using a playful writing tone, I drafted each article based on my experiences and local perspective. For “Valentine’s Day Date Spots in Orange,” I referenced some of my favorite spots in Orange and tried new ones out to include.

My writing process included creating the content, then having an editor provide feedback, and applying her critiques. This was an independent process that then turned collaborative to reach a finished product. I enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to an online magazine.
