Short Stories
I have been writing short stories as a way to creatively express my thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I always start writing without knowing how the story will end. And perhaps, it’s still going…
Short Stories Introduction
While sitting at cafes and exploring parks across San Francisco, I draw inspiration from my surroundings to ideate and draft my stories. My short stories include everything from modern work-life balance (or lack thereof), to living abroad, to natural wonder. I enjoy including quotes that are currently inspiring me, as well as classic literature references. In “Check Yourself at the Door,” I explore workplace dynamics and how individuals often change themselves to fit their workplace reality. In “When the Sun Strikes You,” I write about an unnamed narrator aching for a new life, while reflecting on their own life and trying to appreciate where they are just a little more.
